What You Need to Know
How do I apply for a home?
The first thing we will need is a complete application submitted to our office.
Where can I get an application?
You can find our application in pdf format here on our website or email admin@proyectoazteca.org and an application will be mailed to you or you can stop by our office and pick up an application at the door, complete it and leave it in the drop box.
How long will I have to wait to hear back?
At this time, we only have funds to assist families who own their own lot (in rural areas) or who owe less than $15,000 on their lot. All other applicants who are seeking a home and lot will be placed on our waiting list.
How long will I be on the waiting list?
The speed at which we move through our waiting list depends on funding availability. We ask that families update and apply every year to remain on the waiting list. Updating your phone number is very important.
What income do I have to make to qualify?
All programs are based on family size and income. We assist families who are at or below 80% of the Area Median Income set forth by HUD (Housing and Urban Development) annually. It is very important that the estimate for income is close to what you make for the entire household.
